Our Annual Community Day is August 16, 2025 from 10AM - 2PM, at West Ave. School. This event is FREE to the Bridgeton Community. There will be free food, games, vendors, and a backpack giveaway for the first 200 students. If you're interested in donating to Community Day and/or BABU, please click the link below.
Men united to restore and empower our youth to become responsible for their community, while providing them with basic principles through education, Technology, Leadership skills and ensuring a community unified in peace and justice for the safety and well-being of our Communities.
To bring change to our Community, To address Youth Violence, To Combat Black on Black Crime, To Advocate for Empowerment in our Community, To provide Leadership Examples to our Young Men and Young Ladies.
The Bridgeton Area Brothers United (BABU), consist of fifteen (15) board members who were born in Bridgeton and from other areas of Cumberland County. We were blessed by God for the opportunity to grow up in Bridgeton, and are committed to creating a bright future for the youth of the city of Bridgeton. By using our life experiences that have made us successful men- our mission is to give our time, money, and resources to support the Bridgeton youth and community to flourish and prosper.
BABU is committed to aggressively challenging our youth to excel in education. Opportunities to learn are all around the classroom and the school. With each new student and each new challenge, you have a new chance to learn. BABU will be involved with Professional development, workshops, conferences all to ensure the furthering of our youths education is obtained”.
Small Actions Lead To Big changes! You can make an impact by partnering as a B.A.B.U. Volunteer. Volunteering has the power to build confidence, improves health and wellbeing, broaden your social circle, and ultimately Impact and Save lives!
